 In late 2005 into 2006 Storm records was busy working with loads of new and emerging Nigerian talents, such as Jazzman Olofin, Dare, Sasha, and also Eldee the Don, then we signed Ikechukwu and Naeto C, as solo artists and as a group called World Famous Akademy in the process of translating their brand of Hip Hop to this environment we delivered albums, freestyles, mixtapes and we began some of the things that have now become a part of the emerging nigerian urban music landscape.

Lawizzy is not a new comer to the Nigerian music scene. He released his  first 6

On his style of music, he maintains that he doesn't want to be  characterised as

he might decide to sing, rap, sing rap or  rap in patua. His delivery is
influenced by years growing up on the  streets of lagos, Jos and his stint in
the Uk.

M.I and his record label, Chocolate City, have finally decided to put out the video for “Undisputed Champion”; a single that premiered here at the start of November 2010, before M.I 2 came out later that month. If my memory serves me right, this is M.I’s 3rd video ever (after “Crowd Mentality” and “Safe”).
The quality of this song/video maintains M.I’s status as the “undisputed champion” of commercial hiphop in Nigeria, and he has numbers to prove it. M.I 2 (The Movie) is billed for a UK Premiere/Tour (along with the Choc Boiz) sometime in April 2011. In 2005, Gino revolutionized the game when he dropped his instant classic video ‘No Be God’ and later released his debut album (which many regard as being one of the best rap albums in Nigeria) Pain Plus Work.  The album also generated another hit Farabale which was a club banger.

While many thought the rapper took time off, he was actually in the booth taking his time to record a body of work that will be rated flawless. With such high standards it is said that Gino has scrapped songs worth two
albums. Now satisfied with what he has, the C.E.O of MOBB Records is finally set to drop his highly anticipated sophomore album.

Kicking his re-entrance is this new single which was produced by the *SoundCity and Future Awards Producer of the Year*, Sossick. Gino’s second album is scheduled to drop later in the year.
